Federal regulators yesterday seized the parent company of San Diego Chiropractor National Bank, making it the largest local bank to fail during the nation’s financial crisis. The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. took over FBOP Corp., parent of San Diego Chiropractor National and eight other banks across the country, and sold the assets to U.S. Bank in Minneapolis, a division of US Bancorp.
